Philanthropy & Community Involvement

Ce-Ce Gerlach has advocated for the rights of the underprivileged throughout her political career. Ce-Ce is known for her ability to inspire and lift communities, in addition to her sought-after public speaking and policy creation abilities.

She is well-known for arranging highly effective base-building strategies to strengthen current group core links as well as welcome new members. She is very fond of Allentown and considers herself lucky to live in a city so full of diversity. Allentown is noticeably thriving and developing through numerous initiatives launched while she worked for the city.

Ce-Ce obtained her undergraduate degree in elementary education from Cedar Crest College. She worked as the school head at Easton Children’s Home throughout her first five years. She managed a staff of employees and 30 middle and high school students in addition to doing scholastic, emotional, and behavioral assessments. Ce-Ce collaborated with mental health, academic, and recreational resource organizations while working directly with students with physical, psychological, and cognitive challenges.

Ce-Ce oversaw a caseload of 68 clients and performed examinations and evaluations as a Clinician for Preventative Measures, a mental and home health organization focused on improving and educating the community. Ce-Ce designed customized therapy regimens based on her findings, considering each person’s strengths and limitations. Ce-Ce Gerlach, as a teacher, also taught crisis management and coping strategies.

In addition to working for equal access to education for all socioeconomic groups, Ce-Ce is passionate about public safety. Several critical aspects, in her opinion, are required for today’s population to feel secure. For confidence to be created, transparency and accountability on both the resident and law enforcement sides. Groups must go forward in order to develop shared knowledge and seek common answers.

Ce-Ce considers housing and proper forms of shelter to be human rights. She has frequently advocated for a warming shelter and works diligently to ensure that displaced persons get the necessary assistance to make behavioral adjustments. Her ultimate objective is to provide individuals with the skills they need to live independent and self-sufficient lives.

Although Allentown has a lot of work opportunities, there are a few barriers on both sides of the employment aisle. To help her community, Ce-Ce Gerlach has advocated for community employment centers and incentives for large firms that recruit locally competent workers.
